MedNet is guided by the values of liberty, democracy, equality, the rule of law, and respect for human rights and human dignity. We believe in the right of all people to have equal opportunity in education, regardless of their social class, ethnicity, background or physical disabilities. We believe in the right of all people to access information by all means and the right to express themselves freely.

MedNet acts as a networking platform, hosts a number of events related to capacity building and cultural exchange, and represents students at a number of Higer Education conferences within the Mediterranean region. MedNet collaborates with the European Students Union (ESU) and is a member of EMUNIAnna Lindh Foundation, and EPUF.

The recent geopolitical changes in the Mediterranean region strengthened the common interests students have in this region. Therefore,in addition to continuing the actions MedNet has carried until now, MedNet’s main goal is to establish itself as a formal network where Northern and Southern Mediterranean student representatives will work together on common issues. Student representatives will contribute to the production and the promotion of a common Mediterranean Policy on the educational, social, political, cultural and economical field.
